Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

El centro de enseñanzas virtuales de la universidad de Granada optó en 2012 por el control integral remoto de las instalaciones para lo cual se implementó:
Control de clima.
o Control splits interiores mediante pantallas táctiles z38i por estancia.
o Termostatos de zona e interfaz de usuario. Gestión clima sujeta a presencia en las instalaciones mediante detectores.
o Vigilancia y control centralizados del uso de la climatización.
o Sensores de apertura en ventanas para control de clima.
o Control total de climatizadoras de forma remota.
Control de iluminación.
o Actuadores para cargas capacitivas y reactivas
o Pantallas táctiles como interfaz de usuario. Gestión de la iluminación sujeta a presencia.
o Integración en el sistema de monitorización y control de luz natural.
