Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
Das Werkschulheim Felbertal ist eine technische Schule in mitten von Salzburg. Die Vernetzung der einzelnen Gebäuden erfolgt über Lichtwellenleiter. Aufgeteilt in 9 Bereichen sind hier ca. 1000 Geräte verbaut.
Die Zentrale Steuerung über einen Gira Homeserver ermöglicht die Zeitgesteuerte Ansteuerung aller Licht und Heizkreise. Dies ist in diesen Objekt besonders Energieeffizient über eine Betriebsmodus Umschaltung der Heizung in Abhängigkeit des Schulunterrichts gekoppelt.
Weiters sind alle Brand und Notbeleuchtungsanlagen an das System gekoppelt und ermöglichen hier eine sichere und komfortable Überwachung der Fremdsysteme.
