Questo storico complesso monumentale risalente al 1400, acquistato nel 2000 insieme ai suoi giardini dal Governo italiano e attualmente sede degli Archivi Storici dell'Unione Europea, è stato oggetto a più riprese di profondi lavori di ristrutturazione tra i quali è da annoverarsi l'adozione dell'infrastruttura di molteplici soluzioni e dispositivi KNX di gestione e controllo.
Chiostro, Hall, Sala del Consiglio, Sala dei seminari e tutti gli ambienti piccoli e grandi che si susseguono nei cinque piani (quattro più un mezzanino) in cui si articola la bellissima villa sono dotati di un'anima KNX realizzando in quelle mura, idealmente, una spettacolare sinergia tra l'antica storia ancora viva e un cuore tecnologico all'avanguardia.
