Customers Description

In hungary's southern region, a new 5 star hotel opened it's doors to customers. In the Hotel KNX plays a major role in the building's overall control and maintenance. The HVAC system is controlled and monitored through KNX actuators and sensors, the lighting, heating/cooling at the communal areas and many more sub-systems that are connected through compatible communication protocols. All systems are aggregated in a web server which is used by the maintenance team to identify and solve complex problems in the controlled systems. The visualisations help the general staff to manage everyday control of the communal areas and pool functions. Energy efficency and complete control of the HVAC systems guarantee a cost effective and enviromental friendly approach to energy usage in such a huge building. Main goal of KNX in the project was to cover the massive spaced out layout of the building and to manage communication reliably thourgh floors and interface with many different sub-systems.
