Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
In dit relatief nieuwe woonhuis was al een begin gemaakt met automatiseren van rolluiken en de tuinverlichting. Dit bestaande systeem was niet erg betrouwbaar en is vervangen door KNX. In fases is eerst de bestaande domotica vervangen rekening houdend dat de installatie verder opgeschaald ging worden. In een latere fase is de gehele 'conventionele' installatie vervangen door KNX.
De installatie wordt per ruimte bediend op tasters met 4 scenes of een bewegingssensor. Ook de kinderen kunnen op deze manier gewoon de installatie bedienen.
Door toepassing van de X1/S1 combinatie van Gira kunnen de bewoners zelf aanpassingen maken in scenes en automatisering. Ook buitenshuis is inloggen op de installatie mogelijk.
Om het huis ook zonder smartphone op een aantal punten te kunnen bedienen los van de automatisering is op een aantal plekken een TC5 touchscreen van Siemens geinstalleerd.
