Energy Efficiency

Customers Description
This 4-stories single-family house required a complete overhaul of the automation system that was made in 2015 and was severely malfunctioning. The obvious solution to achieve the level of control and comfort the residents requested was to create a completely new KNX installation replacing the old equipment. As a result, 6 distribution boards linked with IP modules are housing all the actuators needed to control a large variety of functions. In addition most of the house is equipped with dry-contact push-buttons, so each signal had to be captured by binary inputs.
Currently, the KNX system control the lighting, the HVAC system (fan coils, radiators, electric heaters, fans, and the summer/winter switchover), the curtains and shutters, the motorized doors and portals, and certain electric circuits such as the pool heating and the water stopping valve controlled by the leakage sensors. There is also an analogue detection of water levels in the rain water draining container.
