Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. MAS GmbH is the leading supplier for advanced high-quality cutting tools for all the major automobile producers in Europe.
The new administration building is not only an office building, a lounge, a visitor centre but also features a demo production line.
As most people spend more time in the office than at home, a major goal was to make employees feel comfortable in the office.
Open office spaces invite for out-of-the-box thinking and group discussions.
Intelligent shading and color temperatures add to the ambience and comfort.
Small batches of complicated demo parts can be produced within minutes onsite requiring the room temperature to be within +/- 0.5K. Additionally to low energy heating and cooling (heatpumps and ice collector), shades are being used to help control the temperature.
The new administration building is a featured project of Vitra office furniture and is being used as a reference for modern corporate culture from the german chamber of commerce.
