Customers Description

This project introduces a fully KNX-integrated, smart FM Radio receiver designed for modern building automation. It bridges traditional radio broadcasting with the KNX ecosystem, offering a seamless dual-control interface: intuitive manual operation via a local rotary encoder, and comprehensive remote management through standard KNX push buttons or advanced touch panels. The device features automatic station tuning and smart memory management, storing radio station data in a structured format. It goes beyond simple audio playback by extracting and transmitting rich telemetry directly to the KNX bus. Through dedicated Data Point Types (DPTs), the system exposes a wide array of parameters: channel navigation, volume adjustments (step or percentage), active broadcast frequency, and RSSI signal strength. Additionally, it leverages RDS data to push real-time station names, live information text, and synchronized time to KNX visualization interfaces.
