Customers Description
Chicken Shed is a luxury cinema and entertainment space created in a new build barn, on the former site of a Chicken Shed. Designed for family movie nights and social gatherings, the project demonstrates how KNX can simplify complex technology for first-time smart home users. KNX was selected for its flexibility, reliability and wide choice of manufacturers, allowing solutions to be tailored to both the client’s aesthetic preferences and budget. The system controls all lighting and heating throughout the barn and integrates with a Control4 system to unify environmental and AV control. Ekinex keypads provide intuitive scene-based operation for cinema, music and social modes. As the barn is separate from the family home, remote access allows the space to be pre-conditioned and prepared before use. The result is a highly immersive yet simple-to-use entertainment environment that showcases the benefits of integrated KNX automation.
