Simon was established by Arturo Simon in1916. The earliest factory was located in Olot, Catalonia, Spain. In 1972, the head quarter of Simon Group was relocated to Barcelona, which is renowned as the Flower of Europe. Simon mainly specialized in producing switches, sockets, lighting and home smart systems. Always decicated to product innovation, Simon has developed many products with intellectual property rightsand won many honors, such as Spanish Royal Outstanding Enterprise and Spain'snational Product Design Award. Field devices, communication connectors and IoT Cloud platforms are results of SINAPSI R&D. Sinapsi is also expert in Building Automation Systems. It develops KNX devices, customized BMS supervisors, and offers training on all of its products and solutions.

Smart Building Services GmbH is a Swiss company and has been selling KNX products in the field of network technology, visualization and building automation for 10 years. The two managing directors Peter Sperlich and Holger Eckert have decades of experience in the conception and implementation of projects with instabus / EIB / KNX. The first own KNX products are planned for 2021.
