STEINEL: Perfect in outdoor detection

Whether outdoors or indoors, the sensIQ KNX from STEINEL is the king of motion detectors, reliably detecting movement across an area of up to 1,047 square metres. This means that large areas such as entrance areas or loading bays can be monitored with just a single sensor. The usage-dependent light switching not only saves energy, but also offers greater convenience and added security. 

The sensIQ KNX scores with a 300° detection angle at 180° opening angle, a tangential range of up to 20 m and a maximum mounting height of up to 5 m. Its complex lens system consists of 4 pyro sensors. Their detection range can be scaled with precision to the metre in 3 independent directions of 100° each using rotary controls, without the need for cover plates, as is usually the case. Its powerful relay enables high switching capacities. By turning the sensor head, it can be mounted on both the wall and the ceiling. Practical: for time-saving installation, the bracket of the sensIQ KNX can be pre-assembled separately from the actual sensor. The sensor head itself is then hung up and locked in place. 

The main light of the connected luminaires can be adjusted between 0 and 100%. The twilight threshold can be individually selected between 2 and 1,000 lux. The time period after which the light should switch off automatically when no more movement is detected can be set between 60 seconds and 255 minutes. A basic light for 1255 minutes is also possible. Two light outputs, a presence output, the brightness value and constant light control are available as KNX functions.
