This presentation will describe how strong technologies can set up the right future of smart homes industry. Only using the right technology will ensure full integration of devices and applications and provide the right tool for system integrators & professionals to guarantee all necessary needs demanded by their owners are thoroughly considered and implemented in a smart home. As a result, it will be introduced the KNX ecosystem, a framework that sets a best standard for the industry. This ecosystem is based on the most important aspects that users care most about, like future-proof technology, security, interoperability, openness, one ecosystem, and of course sustainability.

The primary focus of the workshop is to discuss the establishment of the KNX Middle East National Group. Participants will have the opportunity to receive updates on the latest news from KNX and introduce themselves to the community by showcasing their regional activities. The workshop is open to everyone interested in KNX and active in the region.
