MDT introduces new Firmware Update App

With the new, free MDT Firmware Update App, MDT technologies GmbH offers a user-friendly solution for quick and easy updates. Whether for individual devices or complete mass updates - the app makes it easy to update the firmware of MDT KNX products.

An overview over the most important features:

1. Installing the app: the MDT Firmware Update App is free of charge and can be downloaded from the MYKNX shop at https://my.knx.org
2. Device check: The current firmware versions of the installed KNX products can be readout using the ‘Check devices’ function. A filter function helps to check specific devices.
3. Overview of devices: The app shows an overview of all devices found, including information on the installed version and firmware status.
4. Firmware update: If an update is available, the corresponding update can be selected. Click on ‘Start update’ to install the new firmware on the KNX devices.

The MDT Firmware Update App is available for the current ETS versions ETS5 and ETS6 and offers an efficient solution for managing MDT KNX devices in various project sizes. The new update tool replaces the DCA Update Tool, which was previously available for download in the MDT product area.
