Secure segmentation in KNX

KNX Secure offers a high level of security through encryption and authentication. The targeted segmentation warrants a clear separation of different areas.

The JUNG area / line coupler guarantees a secure KNX system across public areas within a building. In addition to the separation of data traffic, the segmentation also creates electrical isolation so that no total failure occurs even in the event of an electrical fault. KNX Secure blocks tampering, as communication is encrypted and changes to the product can only be made using separate keys from the encryption mechanism
