I hope KNX continues to expand globally with more integrations in AI, energy management, and sustainable buildings. My vision is for KNX to be the core platform in every smart city project and educational curriculum around the world.

One of the most memorable moments in my KNX journey was winning two KNX Awards in the same ceremony Best Education Project and the People's Choice Award at 2024. It was a historic moment for the awards and a milestone in my career. From being a nominee in 2022, to making history in 2024, the journey has been unforgettable. And I still keep a KNX as a gift from KNX during my attendance an event for KNX in 2013 that reminds me of how far the journey has come since the early days

To me, KNX is more than just a protocol, It’s the foundation of a lifelong commitment to smarter buildings and better living. As the founder of Optimus Solutions, I’ve spent over two decades in the building automation industry. From day one, KNX stood out as a platform that offered both stability and limitless potential. Personally, it represents a community of visionaries who believe in engineering excellence and long-term value. Professionally, KNX gave us the language to innovate, thus gave us the path to create our local R&D team. A focus with not just responding to market needs, we’re helping define what’s possible in intelligent control systems. Joining the KNX community wasn’t a strategic checkbox for us, it was a natural step in our mission to shape the future of connected buildings.

One of the most emotional and memorable moments in our long KNX journey was celebrating 25 years of TAPKO Technologies – surrounded by long-time partners, colleagues, and fellow KNX pioneers who have walked this path with us for decades. And now, TAPKO congratulates you on 35 years of a successful KNX association!!!
