In 1959, Ursula Ida Lapp and Oskar Lapp founded U.I. Lapp KG (now U.I. Lapp GmbH) in Stuttgart to manufacture and sell the invention ÖLFLEX, the first industrially manufactured flexible control cables with colour coding. For more than 30 years Vallox is distributing heat recovery ventilation units for residential (flats, row houses, single family houses) and meanwhile also non-residential (class rooms, offices,...) buildings to the German market.
