The DALI gateway is used to control luminaires and other applications with DALI control gear within KNX installations, for example electronic ballasts (ECG). From device version V01 onwards, DALI sensors can also be integrated. The device is designed for mounting on a DIN rail in accordance with DIN EN 60715 in a sub-distribution board. The gateway is DALI-2 certified and enables the control of up to 64 DALI participants in a maximum of 32 groups (1-gang variant). In addition, the system is multimaster-capable, so that DALI-2 sensors can also be used as application controllers. In addition, the device is KNX Data Secure compatible and can be updated via the Insta ETS Service app.
