Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Im Rahmen der Sanierung einer denkmalgeschützten Maisonettewohnung im Stuttgarter Süden wurde eine energieeffiziente KNX-Gebäudeautomation umgesetzt. Neben der intelligenten Heizungs- und Lichtsteuerung kamen drahtlose "EnOcean"-Taster zum Einsatz, um auch an baulich schwierigen Stellen Bedienelemente ohne zusätzliche Leitungsverlegung zu integrieren. Versteckt eingebaute Sensoren in historischen Türen ermöglichen eine bedarfsgerechte Heizungsregelung, ohne das Erscheinungsbild zu beeinträchtigen. Die Kombination aus KNX und EnOcean verbindet Denkmalschutz, Energieeinsparung und modernen Wohnkomfort mit langfristiger Erweiterbarkeit.
