Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Sani Asterias is an ultra-luxury, low-density boutique resort featuring 59 private beachside residences within a protected ecological reserve. Engineered for LEED Gold Certification, the property implements a unified KNX ecosystem as an 'invisible intelligence' balancing 5-star hospitality with strict environmental stewardship.
To maximize efficiency, KNX utilizes astronomical clocks and high-precision lux sensors to automate daylight harvesting and eliminate coastal light pollution. Inside the expansive villas, discrete presence networks, motorized shading, and magnetic door contacts dynamically adjust climate zones, executing immediate HVAC interlocks when doors open or rooms are vacated.
Centrally monitored via a master KNX Web Server across the 14,000 sq.m. footprint, the resort relies on smart chronoprograms for predictive operations and night setbacks. Sani Asterias serves as a prime benchmark for sustainable luxury, proving KNX can seamlessly power zero-waste boutique hospit
