Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Camp Glenorchy is a tourist accommodation site in New Zealand designed to the philosophy of the Living Building Challenge, the world’s most advanced environmental building design certification. The site delivers unparalleled guest comfort while being Zero Energy and using 50% less energy and water than similar sites. KNX sensors allow systems to respond as guests move in and out of buildings, providing significant energy savings. A custom app shows guests in real-time how systems respond to their needs, inspiring them to explore such solutions for their homes, workplaces and communities.'
