This certified course is the basis for the KNX product trainings of the manufacturers. Compact - everything about KNX in only five days. You will be familiarized with the KNX technology and learn how to plan and project KNX installations using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software). You will install KNX devices and put them into operation. And if something does not work, we will show you how to find and fix errors in KNX installations. The KNX Basic Course is certified by the KNX Association and concludes with an "E-Academy" recognized exam. Professional planning, project planning, commissioning and troubleshooting require sound technical knowledge.

Glotech is a division of Light and Magic Automation (LNM). It is focused and dedicated to provide various solutions using the KNX platform. Glotech aims to train individuals from different sectors and have them gain knowledge and interest about the KNX technology so they will be able to use the system on their own in a professional way.

Domus main objective is the training and certification of KNX partners, to acquire the necessary skills for the elaboration and integral development of automation projects of houses and buildings.

In 2010 ABB launched in Italy its KNX certified training center in Vittuone, contributing to spread KNX Building Automation knowledge and expertise all over Italy, among different customers. More than 70 people attended KNX basic course becoming KNX partner. Now it has become available a second KNX certified training center in ABB factory in S.Palomba, near Rome, in order to facilitate spread of KNX also in center-southern part of Italy, allowing people to access more easily KNX training sessions and to become KNX partner. The training room is fully equipped with different KNX devices in order to cover all building automations applications such as lighting, shutters, HVAC systems; from the basic ones to the advanced ones such as constant lighting control, DALI lighting, energy&load management, security&safety, visualization and centralized control.

The KNX center operates in the reality of professional and technical training of the Salesian schools by providing training courses for students and companies in the northern Milan area. The center has 8 certified workstations, a showroom in collaboration with Schneider Electric and mobile workstations for the provision of courses also in companies.

Fenice’s aim was to meet different needs in the most efficient way: new skills for a competitive and sustainable industrial area (training) and an effectual cultural impact (education): combine new productive attitudes with responsible consumers behaviour. The focus was not a specific target, but to find an innovative way to reach the largest portion of population as possible: an open place to yield in an interactive and social framework the skills and knowledge each one would eventually apply and transfer in his own working or living context. A new mean and method by which educate citizens, provide expert counselling to entrepreneurs and train workers. Strategically, it was necessary creating a highly collaborative and motivated background among different actors operating within the same geographical area, such as industry, public administration and third sector.

Essegi Domo Smart Home is the first training center on KNX technology in southern Italy, it is proposed as a center for the training and support of young students and professionals working in the Home and Building Automation sector. Inside the KNX Training Center, an exhibition Smart Home was created that reproduces a building built with building technologies capable of ensuring a high level of energy efficiency, integrated with a KNX home automation system, to give all students the opportunity to confront each other. concretely with the installation needs of an automated building system.
