Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients
The key benefit of integrating KNX with the solar energy system is advanced energy management through real-time monitoring, load control, and automation. KNX can continuously monitor photovoltaic (PV) production, grid import/export, battery status, and building energy consumption. Based on this information, the system can automatically prioritize and manage electrical loads to maximize the use of available solar energy.
For example, when solar production is high, KNX can automatically adjust lighting levels, activate non-critical loads, charge batteries, operate pumps, or optimize HVAC operation to utilize surplus energy. During periods of low solar generation, the system can reduce non-essential loads, dim lighting, or adjust temperature setpoints to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.
