The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Developed in collaboration with a leading interior designer, this luxury smart building showroom was created to demonstrate the real-world benefits of the KNX Standard to homeowners, architects, developers and design professionals. KNX forms the backbone of the installation, integrating lighting, climate control, Lutron shading, multi-room audio, intercom and entertainment systems into a single intelligent platform. Premium Ekinex keypads and KNX touch panels provide intuitive control, while Basalte was selected for its native KNX integration and KNX-based audio solution. Smart automation includes intercom-triggered lighting notifications and integrated control of a high-performance media room. The existing heating system was incorporated using KNX RF technology, demonstrating the flexibility of KNX in retrofit applications. The showroom regularly hosts client demonstrations, industry events and CPDs, helping promote KNX adoption and best practice across in the build sector
