Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Description des clients
SBT455 is the new Bidfood distribution centre in Waipapa, engineered by food logistics specialists. KNX was deployed to automate lighting across dry storage, expansive sub-zero freezers, offices, and exterior canopies. The network integrates DALI gateways with high-capacity KNX relay actuators. To maximize efficiency, 64 localized occupancy sensors were installed, prominently featuring specialized low-temperature presence detectors engineered specifically to operate flawlessly in the harsh, sub-zero freezer environments. Automated exterior lighting is driven by an outdoor daylight sensor paired with a KNX time clock. Local management is provided via a centralized KNX touch panel, granting facility staff immediate visualization and override control of the entire distribution centre's lighting environment.
