Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
MDT actuators: AKH, AKU, dimmer actuators for ceiling and outdoor lighting. Sensors: MDT push-button interfaces with Gira e2 push-buttons. Gira smoke detectors with KNX module, window contacts via MDT push-button interfaces. Special features: shutter ventilation function via window contact; in case of alarm, the smoke detector opens Nuki motor locks, opens all shutters, and switches on the ceiling lights throughout the house. Various logic functions in the X1: a window timer sends a push notification to the smartphone every 10 minutes via the S1 when a window is open, including identification of the specific window. Visualisation of window status in the Gira app. Push notification when the smoke detector is triggered. Light alarm system using RS flip-flops: arming and resetting the alarm. OpenWeather API provides weather data for the app and outdoor temperature display. Ambient lighting after sunset until a defined time. Full Alexa integration via Gira S1/X1.
