Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Österreichs größte Kirche feiert 100-jähriges Weihejubiläum
Auf Initiative von Bischof Franz Joseph Rudigier wurde am 1. Mai 1862 der Grundstein für den Mariendom gelegt. Der Dombau galt zu seiner Zeit als das größte Bauvorhaben in ganz Europa und stellte eine technische und logistische Meisterleistung dar. Nach 62-jähriger Bauzeit wurde der Mariendom am 29. April 1924 geweiht. 2024 feiert die katholische Kirche in Oberösterreich 100 Jahre Domweihe. Der Mariendom ist als Landes- und Bischofskirche ein wichtiger Ort der Liturgie und Spiritualität. Er zählt zu den bedeutendsten Kirchenbauten der Neugotik des 19. Jahrhunderts und ist damit auch ein architektonisches Juwel.
Dieser Mittelpunkt der Stadt Linz mit seinem von weiten ersichtlichen 134 Meter hohem Kirchenturm wurde 2024 mit einem neuen Lichtkonzept auf der Basis von KNX ausgestattet. Szenen für Veranstaltungen können über ein Bedientableau einfach aktiviert werden.
