Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients
This minor works project involved replacing an existing (non-KNX) dimming system which was originally installed for incandescent/halogen lamp types and is incapable of handling the inrush from LED dimming. The installation includes 16 Channels of Dimming across 2 Dimming Actuators with control via the Zennio Z41 Wall Controller. This installation was configured to automate the process of gradual luminaire dimming throughout the course of the day by utilising scene setting and absolute dimming values in an effort to meet mood lighting requirements. We also incorporated an element of fault detection on each dimming channel and configured user access privileges to provide managers access to configuration screens.
