Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
A Luxury 3 bed, 3 Bath apartment located in Mayfair overlooking Grosvenor Square. Working with developer Heywood Real Estate, we were able to design and install a full BMS and AV system.
KNX system for lighting, blinds, heating, cooling and plant control, interfaced with a Savant system for the Audio and Visual, we were able to ensure the apartment was easily operated and in-line with the contemporary finish.
Basalte keypads and touch screens were chosen to bring the BMS control from KNX to the user. 21 individually controlled climate zones, many including automatic switching between heating and cooling to allow constant comfort no matter the weather.
Discreetly tucked away is the plant room, where the KNX system commands pumps, valves and under floor heating manifolds, monitors temperatures, and raises alerts to the homeowner in case of a fault or leak detection.
Running both electrical install and lighting design of the project, allowing for one point of contact.
