Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
The project of the house, architecture, and interior was very minimalistic - the technology had to fit to the whole idea of the house. Both in functionality and design. There are no lamps at home. We used only LED strips for lighting - there were a lot of them! We used almost invisible motion detectors to control lights in places where switches
were not needed. Satin white sentido (basalte) perfectly fitted with its minimalistic design to the white, geometrical interior of the house. Our client wanted to have most functionalities automated - where possible of course.
The installation was mostly based on KNX system but there are also other ones. Integration with a heat pump and air handling unit were made using the ModBus protocol. DALI system was used to light control.
The most challenging were: HVAC and AV systems. Mostly because all the technical devices had to be hidden somehow to keep the minimalistic design of the interior. But we have made it.
