Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
La Universidad Católica de Santa María (UCSM) en la nueva sede Torre Santa María, usando el estándar internacional KNX cuenta con una plataforma integral de gestión y control inteligente de la iluminación, calidad de aire, alarmas técnicas y medición de energía y agua del edificio.
Esto facilita la supervisión, el monitoreo y la gestión centralizada de todos los sistemas y dispositivos IOT, optimizando el mantenimiento, la detección temprana de fallas y la respuesta ante situaciones de emergencia. Se configurarán escenas y perfiles personalizados de iluminación que se ajusten a las actividades desarrolladas en los espacios de aulas educativas.
Además, el sistema ofrece un control intuitivo y accesible a través de interfaces de BMS amigable para los usuarios, permitiéndoles ajustar el ambiente según sus necesidades por PC y smartphone.
El diseño abierto y flexible es compatible con tecnologías de IA y Digital Twin.
