Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
The Rotes Kreuz project in Liestal is a commercial installation featuring a complete KNX automation system. Heating, cooling, and ventilation are centrally managed to ensure optimal thermal comfort and energy efficiency throughout the building. Advanced logic controls shading in response to high solar radiation: when sunlight intensity rises and the cooling system is active, the shutters automatically close to prevent overheating and reduce energy demand. The system also integrates CO₂ monitoring and dynamic scene management for different areas.
A unique aspect of this project is the 3D visualization developed in ComfortClick, where all rooms and building elements are represented in an animated environment. Lights, shutters, and HVAC components react in real time within the 3D interface, offering a clear and interactive overview for facility management and maintenance.
