Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients
This Victorian terrace in the heart of Edinburgh was fully renovated in 2022/3. As the whole building was being gutted there was the opportunity to install a wired KNX system throughout the building. The KNX system controls the lighting, heating and shading through the property. The owners wanted to have simple understated black Gira rocker switches with integrated tempertaure sensors to keep the operation of the system easy to use and understand whilst reducing the wall clutter. The addition of a Gira X1 Visualisation server gives them complete control from mobile devices as well as access to features like simulated occupancy.
