Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
In the space of a high-rise building, windows take on a very important role. On the onehand, we are enchanted by the skyline, but on the other hand, we need to protect theapartment from excessive heat and ensure privacy in the apartment. During this realization,we used electrically controlled double blinds. Each window segment has a translucent rollerblind (screen), and a blackout blind. The screen performs the role of classic curtains - itallows you to create twilight without losing the view outside the window, while the blackoutfabric protects from the sun and also almost completely darkens the space. Thiscombination creates ideal conditions for daytime naps. How it works. - Control of blinds,lighting and complete HVAC is done using KNX actuators; - the Ekinex 20venti Surface wallsensors guarantee reliable operation and minimalist design; - GIRA G1 touch panel and GIRAS1 remote access module were used to complement the hardware. Additionaly in the flat is installed multiroom audio.
