Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
The renovated historic building had to resemble its original state as much as possible and at the same time, it had to be turned into a five-star hotel with up-to-date economical operation. Thanks to the characteristics of the KNX system, all requirements and ideas that came up during planning and execution were tasks and not impossible problems or insurmountable obstacles.
The Berker Manufaktur brushed brass B.IQ pushbuttons combines a classical look with modern KNX technology. Due to incorporating the products of various producers (Berker, Theben, Siemens, Intesis, Bab Technologie, Zennio, Netx, Tantron), every function (cooling-heating, lighting, air conditioning, warm water and the full HVAC system) was fitted at the highest, most professional level possible. Different communication protocols (KNX TP, KNX RF, IP, Modbus, DALI) contributed to the flawless and standardized realisation of envisioned features. BOTANIQ Tura Castle has been awarded "Best European Castle Hotel 2021"
