Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
With our portable KNX House, we can practically demonstrate the applicability of KNX systems at lectures and events. AUTERAS LITE, a web-based configurator for Smart Home, supplements the demonstration. It offers the possibility of requirements gathering, conceptual design, automatic product selection and smart linking. The software conforms to the new EU standard EN 17609 (room automation) and is able to use the KNX 3.0 tagging. Purposefully created explanatory videos describe the applications suggested by the software. After planning with our software, the results can be exported for subsequent implementation in the ETS.
AUTERAS LITE can be used online (www.auteras.de) for both configuration and educational purposes, as it illustrates and explains the broad spectrum of possibilities of room automation.
The expertise of the AUTERAS team headed by Prof. Klaus Kabitzsch is based on many years of innovative research at the Technical University of Dresden.
