Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

With 279 rooms and 88 villas, Akra Didim implements a fully integrated automation solution based on KNX Association standards, combining an advanced Guest Room Management System (GRMS) and centralized lighting control across common areas.
The KNX-based GRMS leverages occupancy detection and seamless Opera PMS integration to dynamically optimize energy consumption while delivering a personalized and comfortable guest experience.
In addition, KNX integration with DALI lighting systems enables centralized monitoring and control, providing high flexibility, reliability, and ease of maintenance for the technical service team.
This holistic KNX solution not only maximizes energy efficiency for the investor but also enhances operational performance, scalability, and long-term sustainability of the facility.
Unlike traditional hotel automation systems, this solution goes beyond control by enabling predictive, adaptive, and fully integrated building operations through KNX.
