Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
Mauro Suites is an apartment building in the historic center of León (Spain).
The building consists of 9 apartments and common uses. Each apartment is a knx line, together with the common uses, having a secure knx/ip power supply at the head of each line.
Lighting, air conditioning, curtains and technical alarms are controlled in the apartments.
The consumption of electricity, cold water, hot water and air conditioning therms is also monitored by apartment.
There is a BMS that controls the secure knx system, the intrusion system, the cameras, the primary air conditioning system, and it is also connected to the access control "Tesa" and the hotel manager "Hotelgest".
Guests make reservations online and the system manages itself and prepares the building and the apartment for the guest during their stay, without the need for a manager. Guests access with keyboards or by digital key. They can even control their room by smartphone.
