The additional application outputs the time—synchronized via NTP—as a KNX bus telegram. In the event of a power failure, the time is buffered for up to 36 hours, ensuring that the bus time is immediately available again once power is restored. Furthermore, the application includes a "mapper," which enables the connection between non-secure and secure group addresses. This allows new, secure devices to be linked with older devices in modern installations.
