JUNG KNX Presence Detector Mini

High functional density, compact design

With the latest generation of the KNX Presence Detector Mini, JUNG delivers maximum functionality in minimal space. The detectors stand out thanks to precise sensor technology, flexible parameterisation and a shallow installation depth of just 38 mm with a ceiling cut-out of 53.5 mm.
Unchanged installation dimensions make modernisation or replacement of existing installations straightforward – without any modifications to the ceiling structure. This reduces planning effort and installation time alike.
The detector is available in two technical versions – Standard and Universal – as well as in two visual finishes: Black matt with a dark lens and White matt with a light lens. This allows seamless integration into a wide range of interior concepts.

Two versions for differentiated requirements

The Standard version is equipped with a PIR sensor and is ideally suited for smaller rooms or classic switching tasks in corridors, ancillary rooms or offices.
The Universal version features three PIR sensors, significantly expanding the range of applications. Different sensitivity levels enable differentiated detection of various room zones. It also integrates:
•    Temperature measurement
•    Humidity measurement
•    RGB LED with freely selectable colour
•    Orientation LED (cool white, 10 brightness levels)
•    Blue LED for walk test and functional block monitoring
•    Light control
•    Up to five function blocks

When activated, the RGB LED can illuminate the entire lens surface in colour, with brightness adjustable in ten levels. The orientation LED provides subtle cool white illumination in the presence of movement and supports safe orientation within the room.

An integrated segmentation ring allows targeted limitation of the detection area. Individual segments can be masked, enabling precise zoning – particularly advantageous in complex room layouts or open-plan spaces.

Faster configuration in ETS

Predefined function blocks significantly simplify parameterisation in ETS and reduce commissioning time:

Motion detector

Switches lighting on when movement is detected and off when absence is detected.

Presence detector

Ideal for office or corridor lighting applications with absence logic.

Switching, climate, ventilation

Activates ventilation or air-conditioning systems when presence is detected – for example for dew point monitoring or demand-based climate control.

Monitoring

Detects movement within defined time windows and enables targeted monitoring functions.

Universal

Allows individually programmable applications.

The Universal version also includes an integrated logic module. Simple “AND/OR” combinations can be implemented directly within the device – without the need for external logic modules.

Extensive functionality in minimal space

Despite its compact design, the KNX Presence Detector Mini offers a high level of integration for modern KNX projects. Presence and motion detection, climate and lighting functions as well as status indication can be combined in a single device.
Both versions naturally support KNX Data Secure, ensuring encrypted communication within the KNX installation.
