ABB i-bus® NCT by ABB Stotz-Kontakt GmbH
ABB i-bus® NCT (Newron Commissioning Tool) is a bundle consisting of the KNX engineering tool MOOVnGROUP, plus ABB and Busch-Jaeger KNX device templates, which offer a standard set of applications for office buildings. MOOVnGROUP is a graphical commissioning tool for ETS. It provides a reinvented new workflow to setup a KNX project. As graphical tool it offers a flexible and user friendly interface on basis of a building map. MOOVnGROUP is the ideal tool for commercial -, office buildings, hospitals, schools and hotels with building automation functions and the need for flexible room automation. MOOVnGROUP handles any device of any manufacturer as soon as it is available in ETS 4. It turns a device into a collection of objects such as lamps, switches, sensors, etc. Afterwards every object can be allocated with a user defined profile by setting its parameters. For easy commissioning MOOVnGROUP works on basis of zone concept. A zone may represent an office, a hotel room, hospital room, a corridor, and so on. A zone template is created by grouping a collection of different objects and their mapping of group objects. Once a zone template is defined, it can easily be copied from one room to the next, to the next, and so on. With MOOVnGROUP choose your building layout, place the objects on the map, draw a zone including objects and all is done: devices are created in ETS, parameters are set, and group addresses are applied and connected. In combination with the additionally available ABB doGATE the KNX project can be automatically downloaded into the doGATE. Your selected group addresses are automatically mapped to BACnet, OPC and oBIX or will be monitored as trends. With MOOVnGROUP you never reinvent the wheel, because you can reuse all templates: the more you integrate the more template you get and less work needs to be done. Working with template secures your installation, because you cannot make manual errors. In case of final change, just modify the template and apply to the complete project. Hint: To use MOOVnGROUP you additionally need always an ABB i-bus® NCT Credit.

ETS App Device Editor by KNX Association
The ETS App “Device Editor” has similar functionality with the ETS App “Device Reader” with however an important difference. Using this ETS App, the KNX Members cannot only read out the memory of a KNX device, but they can also modify the contents of unprotected memory blocks. This is very important when e.g. a device is under testing by the manufacturer in a real installation environment and the test engineer wants to manipulate the memory of the device to check its functionality without the need to create a new product database using the Manufacturer Tool. [Video presentation (EN)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e53imoJJSsw)
ETS App Device Reader by KNX Association
KNX devices are characterised by the fact that their application software offers parameters for all possible functions. Furthermore, with the help of ETS, device configurations can be easily changed at all times. But there are however situations where systems integrators have to dig deeper into devices. It can for example happen that unknown bus components come to the surface unexpectedly, when reconstructing an existing KNX installation. In such cases, the ETS App “Device Reader” can be used in order to read out the memory of devices, which will provide the user with the crucial and possible clarifying information. [Video presentation (EN)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhtrWky1aOY)
ETS App Training Centre Tool by KNX Association
ETS allows a device to be unloaded only when the programming button on the device is also pressed. This prevents the unloading of a Individual Address when the device is no longer physically accessible (e.g. after mounting it in a suspended ceiling). This would mean that no new Individual Address could be assigned because to do this, the programming button should be pressed. In the special case of Training Centres, mass unloading after completion of a course is a desired use case so that the installation can be restored to the initial condition. [Video presentation (EN)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYfXali-2cE)

These files contain information about names and types of objects and the direction of data flow, which were set in BAline Studio projects. With “KNXMCM BAline Studio Exchange” the settings on KNX devices can be easily made so that the corresponding BAline Studio Project can run perfectly on these devices. “KNXMCM BAline Studio Exchange” can in each case be run for only one device. If a receiver heartbeat was set up for group objects in BAline Studio, a message appears in the “Information” field.
Labels by KNX Association
The project is ready for commissioning, but are all bus components really ready for this assignment? The importance of the visual information regarding physical address, mounting, function, etc. on devices, is not to be underestimated. Especially for this situation KNX Association has come up with a very helpful tool. With the ETS App "Labels", device labels based on forms can be printed as stickers. The information is taken directly from the ETS Projects. This not only facilitates the work of the installer or system integrator, but also provides consistent overview within distribution boards and cabinets. ► An installed version of MS Word is needed for printing the labels
Long-term Recorder by KNX Association
For some KNX system malfunctions, observation of the message traffic over a longer period is required. This is usually done with the ETS group or bus monitor. But who is happy to leave an ETS laptop unattended behind, as it most probably also needs to be used for other activities/projects? This is where the new ETS App "Long-term Recorder" comes into play. This App can be installed independently from ETS. So no problem to monitor at one site and to continue on another or to enjoy the weekend without any worries. The recorded telegrams can later on be taken over and analyzed by ETS.

Moov'n'Group by Newron System
MooV’n’Group is a graphical studio for ETS: it really reinvents a workflow to build a KNX network. It offers a graphical, flexible and user friendly interface from a building layout. It dramatically reduces integration time in building integration. It is ideal for commercial building, hospitals, hotel automation and any flexible room automation. Moov’n’Group license is based on job site runtime you have to acquire per site: MooV’n’Group site capacity. It works exclusively with a dongle you will receive when you install the first time MooV’n’Group. MooV’n’Group can template any device of any manufacturer as soon as it is available in ETS 4. It turns a device into a collection of objects such as lamps, switches, sensors … Every object is then turned into a profile by setting its parameters. Then MooV’n’Group templates a zone: a collection of objects and their group address template when you connect 2 objects in a same zone. A zone may be an office, a room in hotel, hospital room, a corridor, a facade, … That zone also includes the automation template: mapping to BACnet, OPC and oBIX, trend template, …. And links to SCADA via our universal automation server: doGate. Device is installed and BMS interface is ready. With MooV’n’Group you never reinvent the wheel because you can reuse all template: the more you integrate the more template you get and less work needs to be done. Working with template secures your installation because you cannot make manual errors. In case of final change, just modify template and apply to the complete project.

My Product Templates by KNX Association
Re-use what you created before In practice, configuring KNX devices can be very time-consuming. If you need devices with particular configurations more than once, it may be useful to have them somewhere available for further use afterwards. With the ETS App "My Product Templates" such ready-made devices can be added to a favorites list. Also KNX devices used in all (or almost all) projects can be handled in the same way. They are then also available for other projects - like from the manufacturer catalog - but then fully pre-configured. Users who repeatedly integrate similar functions can save themselves a lot of time and effort with this ETS App.
NETx BMS App by NETxAutomation Software GmbH
To import the configuration of a KNX project into a management application like an OPC server, the ETS offers an export function called "Export OPC". This export functionality provides only basic information about the KNX installation. The NETx BMS App is a user-friendly way to import the whole KNX project and its meta-information into the NETx BMS Server or the NETx KNX OPC Server. The output of this ETS App is an enhanced export file that contains the used KNX Group Addresses, the deployed KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces, and the full ETS project structure including the network topology (areas, lines, devices, and Group Objects) as well as the building and trade view. In addition, the App detects the configured IP addresses of the KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces. Based on the topology of the KNX project, the App automatically assigns the KNX Group Addresses to the routers and interfaces that are later on used for accessing them. Thus, a manual, time-consuming and error-prone assignment of the KNX Group Addresses to the KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces is not necessary anymore. Using the NETx BMS App, the whole KNX project including the well-known ETS view can be imported into the NETx BMS Server or NETx KNX OPC Server in a fast and intuitive way.
NETx BMS App Secure by NETxAutomation Software GmbH
The NETx BMS App Secure is a user-friendly way to import the whole KNX project and its meta-information into the NETx BMS Server. The export file contains enhanced information like the used KNX group addresses, the deployed (secure) KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces, and the full ETS project structure including the network topology (areas, lines, devices, and communication objects) as well as the building and trade view. Compared to the standard NETx BMS App, the NETx BMS App Secure also exports the information required to access secure KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces. Furthermore, it allows the export of the configuration of KNX/DALI gateways that is used by the NETx LaMPS Module.
Online KNX Product Catalog by KNX Association
Due to the success of KNX, also the range of available KNX products is extending. The applications that need to loaded into KNX devices, can be downloaded from the individual KNX member company websites. This task a such can be very cumbersome. With the ETS App "Online KNX Product Catalog" this situation has changed, the required product catalogs can now be retrieved from within ETS4. The offered product catalogs can differ by manufacturer, language and availability per country. It is no longer necessary to download complete product catalogs. This ETS App is especially interesting for beginners and regular users.
Project Compare by KNX Association
In case of doubt, compare the installation with the ETS project, which ETS project is the latest? What should not happen, can in practice unfortunately happen. If a KNX project was edited because a particular function has been optimized, doubts can arise. Rather than trying and guessing, use the ETS App “Project Compare”. This allows the comparison of individual devices from the installation with the available data in the corresponding ETS project. In this way the current state as in the installation can be compared with the expected state as in the ETS project. Dissimilarities in device configurations will be shown, the result can also serve as evidence in case a third party has tampered with the installation.
Project Data Exchange by IT Gesellschaft für Informationstechnik mbH
Project Tracing by KNX Association
Who made changes in the project? When a KNX project is finished, the installation company will usually handover the ETS project to the customer. Which implies that any third party can change configuration parameters afterwards. When this leads to a malfunction, the system integrator has of course every right to decline warranty. The system integrator had however so far no way to proof that a third party caused the malfunction, this situation is now rectified thanks to the ETS App "Project Tracing". This feature is activated via a password, thereafter ETS automatically lists all possible changes made for projects, all in chronological order. This App can also serve to monitor the progress of projects under construction.
Reconstruction by IT Gesellschaft für Informationstechnik mbH
The Reconstruction tool can be used to read out devices in the installation and then create a new ETS project or update an existing project. You may also compare the data from the installation against an ETS project. This allows to work on projects where the ETS database has been lost or is out of date. This will also work for installations which were created with a previous version of ETS. These items can be reconstructed: topology, devices with individual address, application program, parameter settings and group object flags, priority and assigned group addresses. You need bus access and same product data which were used to program the devices. Building or trade structure as well as name and description texts of areas, lines, devices and group addresses will not be reconstructed because they were not programmed into the device. Note: Devices with plug-ins can only be read out / reconstructed, if supported by the manufacturer of the plug-ins. In case of doubt please contact the manufacturer or our support. Devices which product data cannot be used in the current ETS can not be reconstructed. For more info see http://www.it-gmbh.de Products - KNX-Software - ETS Apps
Replace Product by KNX Association
Exchange Devices, but keep their configurations! One of the benefits of using KNX electrical installations, is their flexibility and the possibility to realize cost-effective enhancements. Because it usually only concerns parametrization. And even this can now - at least partly – be optimized. This is thanks to the ETS App "Replace Product", which replaces KNX devices while keeping their parameter settings. If one exchanges e.g. a four-fold actuator with an eight-fold actuator, the parameters of the first four channels are automatically configured. This is possible for devices with similar functionality, regardless of the manufacturer. Even when devices need to be repaired, users benefit from this ETS App.
Shift Addresses by IT Gesellschaft für Informationstechnik mbH
Shift Addresses helps you to re-structure Group Addresses and Individual Addresses in an ETS project, e.g. - Shift addresses to make room for a new function but still keep an established addressing scheme - Create gaps between addresses to allow for future extensions or to produce a clean and logical addressing scheme
SIEMENS Address by ID by Siemens AG
Users can program the individual address of a KNX device by using the KNX serial number. Siemens offers selected products with removable labels printed with the unique KNX serial number on. In practical work the installer of a KNX device can fix the label to the device in the installation plan. So later on the ETS expert can program the KNX device without pressing the programming button. Therefore the KNX serial number is labeled as bar-code, it is possible to use a bar-code scanner.
SIEMENS KNX2S7 Export by Siemens AG
Siemens offers the possibility to exchange data from SIMATIC S7 PLC to KNX systems via KNXnet/IP interfaces. This ETS App enables the user to export a Group Address data (Main addresses 0-15) from ETS in a CSV file which can be imported to Siemens KNX2S7 Editor. The additional available KNX2S7 Editor creates required data for SIMATIC S7.
Split & Merge by KNX Association
Involve colleagues for KNX projects! Large KNX projects KNX ask for teamwork. But how to organize the interface between the different parts of the project? The situation where several people simultaneously edit a KNX installation may, e.g. for address assignment or central function configuration, lead to inconsistencies. Using the ETS App "Split & Merge", guarantees smooth cooperation for such situations. The advantage is that you can split a previously defined project into two, three or more parts. Several employees can configure them independently and merge again after completion of the entire project. Thanks to teamwork, the processing time for enhanced projects can be reduced. Even unrelated projects can be merged with this function.
terminal-App by Alexander Bürkle GmbH & Co. KG
With terminal-App you can import KNX projects from terminal, the universal online configurator. In addition to the requirement specification generated by terminal, you can import floors, rooms and group addresses directly to your ETS project. [Terminal-Konfigurator](http://www.terminal-konfigurator.de)
