1. Status international Standardisation

  • In PR of China, the KNX Standard has been officially approved by the Chinese authorities. The standard number is GB/Z 20965.
  • EN 50090 Part 4-3 – the KNXnet/IP specifications - approved by CENELEC.

3. New KNX WGs/TFs structure

The new structure of the KNX Working Groups and Task Forces has been officially approved by KEB. It also lays down the responsibility between the departments in KNX Association and their directors.

4. New KNX domain name: www.knx.org

The previous domain name  www.konnex.org  will be automatically re-routed to the new one.

5. KNX market enquiries for 6 countries

KNX market enquiries have been carried out in 6 countries by interviewing end users, installers, architects, planners at some of the important local fairs:

6. KNX Journal 2/2007

7. New press release “KNX is Chinese Standard”

The new press release “KNX approved as Chinese standard (GB/Z 20965)” is available in 9 languages.

8. KNX Scientific Conference 2007

This year‘s conference will be held in Duisburg at the Fraunhofer Institute IMS on the 15th & 16th November 2007. You are kindly invited.

9. KNX at the “Net@Home”

KNX Association has been invited to host a panel discussion about “Today’s Home of the Future in 10 lessons” at Europe’s most renown intelligent home conference “Net@Home” in Nice (13th – 14th of November).

10. KNX Handbook now in 9 languages

KNX Association translated the KNX Handbook, a guide for newcomers - electrical contractors and building designers – in the world of KNX, in nine languages: English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Swedish and Chinese.

11. New KNX presentation

KNX Association created a new KNX presentation “Advantage KNX” with the most important advantages of the standard as well as KNX facts & figures. The presentation is available in English.

12. New KNX poster

KNX Association created a poster (DIN A0 and DIN A1) with the most important information on KNX and international standardization, certification procedure, available tools and tasks of the KNX Association.   

This poster is available in nine languages: English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Swedish and Chinese.

14. ETS3 – Now for Vista

The current version of ETS3.0e supports the following additional Windows Versions:

  • 2003 Server
  • All Vista 32-bit versions

Already supported: Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 98 (though not recommended)

15. ETS language package Chinese

The new Chinese ETS 3.0e language Pack is now available!
Please note that for administration reasons the Chinese version is not a part of the current ETS3.0e download and has to be downloaded separately.   

Available Languages for ETS3.0e: English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, Russian, Greek, Chinese.

16. ETS – new support and FAQ website

The redesigned support and FAQ site is now available in four languages. The redesign will undoubtedly be to the benefit of both our customers as well as our support team:

  • Easy access from internet
  • Quick answer with the help of drop-down menus
  • Available in four languages: English, German, French, Dutch

With this updated tool, KNX hopes to render still a better service and lower its own response-time.
