ETS4 - Manufacturer Product Databases
Load of Product Data
Before you plan your KNX projects it is required to import the technical information of the KNX products you want to use in ETS. You can obtain this ETS- product data (included in so called product - databases) from the particular manufacturers, either by download from their website, or on CD-ROM. Please get in touch with your manufacturer(s); they will support you in any case!
Differences between the Product Data- Formats
The ETS4 allows importing product data of following ETS versions. An export is only possible into the ETS4 format.

Your KNX product manufacturer provides you with this format directly on his web site b. When importing ETS2/3 projects/ products via the ETS4 import wizard all data can be saved in this format, so that this data is available next time (makes sense especially for ETS- product data). |
The import itself will be performed for instance via the quick action bar (ETS4 Overview Page) or on the ETS4 project page.
