06-02-2012	Multi-room systems controlled with KNX at ISE2012	For the second time KNX Association participated together with KNX Members at the international event ISE 2012 in Amsterdam. At the fair, KNX members showed solutions for so-called multi-room systems at the KNX joint-both, which are becoming increasingly simple and convenient for a green home and building automation. This year KNX placed a fantastic booth in collaboration with several KNX Manufacturers (Divus, Empure and Tci) which demonstrated that audio and video applications can be fully integrated in houses and building. 13-01-2012	Last chance to hand in your KNX Award application form	KNX Association International would like to remind that the deadline to submit the application documents for the participation at KNX Award 2012 is Friday January 20, 2012.The KNX Award is granted in recognition for the smartest international KNX projects in home and building control, which stand out as regards innovation and technical progress. 02-12-2011	The New Spanish Journal now Online!	During the 2nd KNX Congress organized in the North of Spain, KNX Spain took the opportunity to publish and distribute the Spanish KNX Journal 2011. This issue summarizes all the best actions of 2011. As well as highlighting national and international KNX projects, the Journal also featured the new products of the Spanish KNX members and the most important facts and figures of the first KNX Congress organized by KNX Spain in March 2011. 05-11-2011	KNX Award 2012	KNX Association International is pleased to announce that applications can now be handed in for the KNX Award 2012. The KNX Award honours outstanding KNX projects in home and building control that set the tone worldwide in innovation and technical advancement. For a successful nomination, the size and volume of the installation are of lesser importance than: the multitude of included trades, the flexibility and expandability, the level of automatization and complexity of the installation, the user friendliness and the acceptance through the user, the convincing arguments for the client and the implementation of products from different manufacturers. 21-10-2011	Generation KNX at WorldSkills 2011 in London	Following the general trend in home and building technology, the organizers of WorldSkills decided to base the Competition on KNX. WorldSkills 2011 London was held from 5-8 October with over 950 Competitors from 51 countries and more than 200,000 visitors. The KNX technology played an important role for the competitors, since the practical task included the creation of a real KNX installation. We would like to congratulate the winners of the competition: Benjamin Houghton from Australia (gold medal), Gian-Andrea Casaulta from Swiss (gold medal) and Kieran Doherty from Ireland (gold medal); Bernt Erlend Fridell from Norway (bronze medal) and Seon Jung Hwang from Korea (bronze medal). 02-09-2011	The Russian Prime Minister Visits KNX Russia	On the 24th of August, the Prime Minister of Russia Mr Vladimir Putin visited the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MSUCE), where KNX Russia has its headquarters. The main purpose of the visit was to inform about the new initiatives launched by Mr Putin. After the meeting, the president of KNX Russia, Mr Andrey Golovin, took the opportunity to show off the latest trends in building automation with KNX to Mr Putin, Mr Fursenko (Minister of Education of Russia) and Mr Andrey Volkov (Rector of the MSUCE). They all were very impressed of what can be achieved with KNX.	Link »

01-08-2011	The international 2011 WorldSkills Competition in London for the first time based on KNX	KNX, as the only provider of a globally-standardised bus technology, is proud to announce that the international WorldSkills competition will from this year’s competition in London onwards be based on KNX only. The venue for this world premiere will be ExCel, London, 5-8 October 2011. In this 41st ever WorldSkills International Competition, teams from 50 different countries will be competing. The KNX technology will play an important role: the practical tasks will include work relating to KNX, hence every candidate will need to be familiar with the KNX technology. 30-03-2011	Congress for Energy Efficiency and Renovation of Buildings Congress in Spain	Congress for Energy Efficiency and Renovation of Buildings Congress in Spain KNX Spain organized a 2-day KNX Workshop for architects, constructors, developers, public administration, as well as system integrators and installers. This event hosted an exhibition area, where several companies showed on their booths, products and services associated with KNX; there was also a congress area where lectures, conferences and roundtable discussions were offered. Significantly, many professionals attending were not related to the KNX standard, thus the goal of spreading the KNX technology was more than achieved.	Link »

10-03-2011	KNX at ISH2011	Held every two years, the ISH Fair draws around 2,400 companies together onto a fully booked trade fair site (250,000 square metres) – including all market and technology leaders working in the energy building and air-conditioning sector. KNX Association will be present at this important fair, showing different solutions such as room temperature control, energy efficiency in school buildings, smart metering solutions, the new KNX RF HVAC specification and an alliance for smart energy solutions.
