In general
- Manufacturer Workspace: to edit device specific data like e.g. device parameters names, plug-ins CLSIDs, etc.
- Manufacturer features for Device Editor (DevEdit): not only to read but also to write the memory of devices.
- Translation Import/Export function: this makes it possible to export product data as text files (csv) and to import them again after translation.
- Software Development Kit (SDK) + documentation: for creating product-specific plug-ins. This requires Windows software development, and is only required in exceptional cases: the integrated features of ETS itself are nearly always sufficient.
