Training Centres - about
KNX Association now operates this Certification Scheme for Training Centres, in order to ensure a minimum requirements of all institutions operating the "KNX Course" (or similar courses) throughout the world.
Types of KNX Certified Training Centres
- KNX Certified Training Centre: training centre with or without ISO-9001:2000 certification, which is accredited by KNX Association for the organisation of basic courses, "KNX Courses", concluded by the KNX exam.
- KNX+ certified Training Centre: training centre with or without ISO-9001:2000 certification, which is accredited by KNX Association for the organisation of basic courses concluded by the KNX exam as well as Advanced Courses.
- KNX++ certified Training Centre: training centre which is accredited for the organisation of Tutor Seminars.
Privileges / Benefits
What are the privileges without ISO 9001 Certification ?
- KNX Association will put the following items at your disposal:
- A certificate established in the name, thereby confirming their right to use the Training KNX logo
- Access to the Training logo that you may use on advertisement or other business related documents (letter paper, envelopes, business cards etc)
- Instructions on how to use the Training logo.
- Your Training Centre will be integrated in an international database that can be consulted via the KNX Association web pages (if desired).
- You will receive the KNX Journal for free.
- Price for purchase of ETS 3 Professional licenses: 1/3 of the normal price (sales(at)knx.org)
- Right to hand out certificates to students after successful exam. When purchasing an ETS 3 Professional License within 6 months after the exam date, the student gets a 125 Euro reduction on the ETS 3 Professional sales price.
- Right to receive training documentation in electronic form.
- Right to participate to the KNX Training Centre Conference that KNX Association organises in cooperation with their Training Center members.
What are the additional privileges with ISO 9001 Certification ?
- Price for purchase of ETS 3 Professional licenses : 1/4 of the normal price (sales(at)knx.org)
