In general

• Manufacturer Workspace: to edit device specific data like e.g. device parameters names, plug-ins CLSIDs, etc.
• Manufacturer features for Device Editor (DevEdit): not only to read but also to write the memory of devices.
• Translation Import/Export function: this makes it possible to export product data as text files (csv) and to import them again after translation.
• Software Development Kit (SDK) + documentation: for creating product-specific plug-ins. This requires Windows software development, and is only required in exceptional cases: the integrated features of ETS itself are nearly always sufficient.

 ETS3 Starter Only

• Macro Engine: scripting interface for automation, only to run macros from KNX - features to run own or from third party macros are not licensed
• Channel Editor: this is a macro developed by KNX, to make products ETS3 Starter compliant.
• Translator: this also is a macro developed by KNX, to translate ETS3 Starter product databases.
