Important information

The release of the new ETS4 on 20.10.2010 was the beginning of a new era for KNX in terms of user friendliness and open interfaces. The ETS 4 is open! This is for example reflected in the new - XML based - data exchange format used by ETS4 during ex-/ import. KNX Association will push the use of KNX even further as the Worldwide Standard for Home and Building Control.

For this reason, the Falcon 2.0 – the KNX interface for bus access - will no longer be subject to license fees.

The free of charge Falcon is currently available as the following versions. All versions you can downloaded via your KNX Online Shop account.

Falcon Runtime	9.5 MB; *.msi flie	Version: 2.0; Release: March 2011 Distributable set-up of Falcon's “runtime” components, without diagnostic tools or demos, does not create any shortcuts in the menus and requires administrative rights for the driver installation.
Falcon Runtime embed	9.5 MB; *.msi file	Version: 2.0; Release: March 2011 Same as above, but for nested set-ups (installation). Do not install this setup directly on your PC! Before you can use/ distribute this setup have to adjust the MSI product code.
