The KNX Scientific Conference 2007 was held at the Fraunhofer Institute IMS in Duisburg on the 15th & 16th November.
A wide variety of subjects was covered over the two days and was rounded up by a visit to the inHaus-Centre, Europe’s leading development and test centre for technology in intelligent buildings. The centre was well worth the visit and our thanks go to those members of the institute’s staff who provided the guided tour.
The KNX Scientific Conference is the occasion for Forum members to present their KNX-related work and make contact with members of our industry. KNX members in turn have the occasion to present their new work and ideas. Over the years fruitful co-operations have been built and the conference is proving to be more and more popular.
We would like to take this occasion to once again give our thanks to Mr. Scherer and Mr. Torsten Stevens for offering us the use of the Fraunhofer Institute IMS to hold the conference and to Ms Sigrid van Kempen who made sure that everything ran smoothly. |

October 2004 | Conference at FH Deggendorf, Germany | |

In collaboration with the Fachhochschule Deggendorf KNX Association organised for the 8th time in a row this conference. The objective of this conference is to reunite the industry represented by our members and the World of Science represented by Universities and Technical High Schools all over the world.
This conference is often the basis of new ideas in research and promotion subjects on one hand and the start of new product and system development on the other side, the industry. This exchange of information and partnership is the main driving force for this conference.
KNX Association organised for second time the Konnex Scientific conference, now hosted by the Fachhochschule Deggendorf,. More than 60 persons, including delegations from the Fair East attended the conference.
Scientific Conferences are organised every year as an exchange platform between Konnex members and the Konnex scientific partners, i.e. universities and technical institutes. Members present their latest system novelties, where the scientific partners are offered the possibility to present further possible innovations for the KNX technology, e.g. as elaborated in the framework of student projects. |
