• guarantees multi-vendor and cross-discipline interoperability, ensured via certification and symbolized by the KNX trademark.
• supports many configuration methods (PC tools, device configurators and plug+play) and media (TP, PL, RF, Ethernet)

KNX fully complies to the EN 50090 series, the European Standard for Home and Building Electronic Systems and ISO/IEC 14543.

KNX Association is a profit making organisation consisting of companies offering KNX solutions.  KNX Association is located in Belgium near Brussels.

KNX Association builds on more than 10 years of experience of the legacy standards Batibus, EIB and EHS, on the basis of which it was established.

KNX is used in several thousands of intelligent homes and buildings, and can be installed by qualified contractors worldwide trained at KNX Certified Training Centers.
